 This show had it all:
- It being the Eve of "Nicklausabend" (St Nicholas Night),
I shared a favourite German holiday song from my
youth
- It being "National Cookie Day" I shared one
of my personal anthems.
- To mark the passing of Steve Cropper (if you say
you don't know his work, you're wrong- look him
up!) I played "Dock Of A Bay", which he co-wrote.
- My synth module is now back from repair (It
had developed an eldritch maddening whine that
was slowly driving me mad), and so I got to
use it on a nice handful of songs. Look for the * !
- There were some lovely requests, many from the
more Rennie/Trad side of my repertoire.
- A nice assortment of instruments, including Lute,
which I was messing around on during my soundcheck
just as folks were tuning in. So those lucky lucky
people got to hear me mangling some otherwise
lovely classical guitar pieces I'm adapting.

Thanks to everyone who tuned in.
My next one will be on 12/18 and that one will
be thematically focused on my Yule/Wintry Mix
set. There are some great songs in there:
ancient, modern, fun, irreverent too.
So that's one not to mix. I hope you can
tune in then, too!
