(ar ar). There was a cool variety of styles, and even a nice variety of instrumentation. Another fun thing that happened was that every holiday season, I get an earworm of a tune I remember from my youth that always seemed to be played with all the holiday music. I suspect it was something that was on our family's 6 hour reel to reel tape of holiday music. So every year for awhile now I listen for it and try to search for it, all to no avail. Except... before I started the show, as we were chatting and waiting for a few more folks to tune in, I hummed the tune for those assembled. A few people remembered the tune! So, about five minutes of brainstorming later, I had a candidate: Harry Belafonte's "Mary's Boy Child" ... and that was it! I remembered a calypso feel, and some of the riffs, but the version I remembered was instrumental, so I had no words to ping on or search. I don't hate it when that happens! So thanks for everyone who tuned in. The next webconcert is on Jan 2nd, same time and place. In the meantime, there are two exciting opportunies coming up soon to hear me LIVE! 1) Sunday, 12/22 2pm I'll be at Hyperspace Rockets & Tea Westminster Town Mall 400 N.
