As foretold, this set featured a debut of some
new instrument technology! It's a harmonica
based Midi controller. What that means (if you
don't know) is that it's a widget that plays
like a harmonica, while it controls a synthesiser
or other sound generator. So, all those dreams
where I play harmonica (which I usually LOVE) but
occasionally wish it was some other instrument, like:
flute, fiddle, keyboard, bagpipes, steel drum, etc-
those dreams can finally be realised through some
technological Magick. The set featured TWO forays
into this new groundbreaking, gamechanging dimension
added into my arsenal. On Zombie Jamboree, I got to
insert a marimba sound to give the song more of a
Calypso vibe. On Solsbury Hill, I used a Panflute
sound, being more evocative of Peter Gabriel's flute
in the original.

So far, the songs with this new dimension are few,
but many more are in the works. This will not at all
replace my harmonica playing, but rather become an
*addition* to my arsenal/kit that will let me add new
textures and colours to songs that I've always
wished could have them. So going forward, I will gain
access to any sound that can be generated by my
Midi equipment. It's a whole new world!

But that's not all worth noting. I marked the
anniversary of the Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald;
the 50th anniversary of the release Disney's _Robin
Hood_; and there were (as usual) some excellent
requests.

Thanks everyone who tuned in and see you all in
two weeks (11/30) for the rare and elusive *5th* Thursday
in November. It promises to be an even odder
Thursday than usual.
