It was an excellent, albeit also bittersweet set!
I started on the bouzouki, which is unusual, but
then three of the songs that I wanted to do to
welcome The May like to live there, so a different
beginning it was. Then I got to my main bit of
business for the evening which was to mark the
very recent passing of Gordon Lightfoot. I grew
up hearing his music everywhere and I dug it.
Turns out, many of my listeners dig it too! Yay!
Almost out of the gate, multiple requests poured in
for "Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald". After that
it was nearly unanimous that I should play as much
Gordon Lightfoot as possible. I was more than
happy to oblige. I also got in several originals
and my favourite from Harry Belafonte, who also
passed recently.

Thanks to everyone who tuned in and I'm happy
to note that I'll be seeing some of you soon in
person. In what turns out to be a Late Spring
Tour. all eight of the next two months' worth of
weekends are booked shows for me! Yay!
