I want to first apologise to folks who tuned in
early. I also was looking forward to the "pre
show chat" that we try to program in, but just
as we opened the session up was when an onslaught
of technical Gremlins got past all of my prep
through a mis-set switch on my audio interface
that essentially turned into the "Suck Switch"
for my sound settings. It took time to track
down and narrow it down and we had to be less
than accommodating with the folks with a front
line seat at the sausage factory.

That said, this turned out to be quite the
fun set! There were excellent requests (that
I *mostly* anticipated), with a sweet variety
of styles and instruments. A glorious cacophony
was especially created for "McIntyre". Normally
live audience participation in such songs is
a beloved highlight of the song both for the
audiences and for myself. Unfortunately the
delays that build up with Zoom make such
interactions highly problematic. I usually have
to ask folks to mute when listening online.
Not this time. Not this song. I gave the
green light to unmuting so that people, at
the appropriate moment, could shout "McIntyre!"
It was a transcendent cacophony we made!!!

I look forward to highlighting this collection
of facets from my repertoire every year, and
desperately look forward to the time when I get
to share it in person.

Big thanks to everyone who tuned in and listened!
