The problem is that there are so many, and I love taking requests. Solution: have people request my favourite songs; by an artist, by a category, of some style, of some genre, of a certain subject matter, etc) I picked a few too, of course. So here's the rundown: -"Crackerbox Palace" was my favourite song when I was 13 -"Wondrous Stories" is my favourite song of ALL TIME -"Guinnevere" is my favourite song "that transports me" -"Butterfly" is my favourite song about a Faerie -"Triad" is my favourite subversive song -"Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots (pt1)" is my favourite song about a robot -"The Wind" is my favourite Cat Stevens song -"Stella Splendens" is my favourite song not in English -"Party With The Elder Ones" is my favourite reggae song about Cthulhu -"Mister Tambourine Man" is my favourite Bob Dylan song -"Sugar Magnolia" is my favourite Grateful Dead song -"Goin' To California" is my favourite song on Bouzouki -"Gracca Amaroso" is my favourite 16th Century Italian Dance tune -"Fergus Lang" is my favourite song that's not al ALL based on a real person, uh huh. Yup. That's right. -"If You Could Read My Mind" is my favourite Gordon Lightfoot song -"It's Only A Paper Moon" is my favourite 1920's song (we learned that it's actually from 1932, but we decided that's close enough for my birthday) -"Music Sex And Cookies" is a song filled with three of my favourite things -"Please Come To Boston" is my favourite song that mentions Boston -"The Mermaid" and "Dance Band On The Titanic are Both favourite songs about a disaster AND favourite songs on the banjo -"Away Rio" is my favourite sea shanty -"Bandit Queen" is my favourite Decemberists' song. -"Wish You Were Here" is my favourite anthem for 2020 -"Waiting For A Superman" is my favourite Flaming Lips song -"Time In A Bottle" is my favourite Jim Croce song. Thanks everyone who tuned in and who helped make some of these amazing selections. It was a lovely set, and I hope to play for you all in person real soon!
