And there were a couple of lovely highlights as well. One was having a very young urchin timidly ask me for "The Frog Song". Turns out that her Mommy bought one of my CDs and they play "Frog Kissin'" for her ALOT! That's the sort of request you just can't turn down, and I'm proud to say that I don't. My other big highlight was related to the gig, but not directly involved. The paint job for my van is finally finished. I originally just had tiger stripes on her natural beige colour, and that looked awesome, but people kept calling her a zebra. No. She is a tiger! So my awesome assistant came over and we painted in orange between the stripes and now she looks a proper tiger. I've been getting all kinds of extra attention now, and that continued tonight. I watched from the patio as a couple of gals were examining the van very interestedly. When I went to leave, I found this note on my windshield: Hey Tiger Van! We have a Zebra Van! We're gonna gonna go eat by the water. Come say hey!! -Alison & Val From Montreal So... I'm so sorry I had to work This sounds like it would have been a fun meeting. Oh well. Nonetheless, here's to you, "Allison & Val from Montreal"! You made what had been a good night even better! I hope our vans' paths cross again someday!
